Lunch in Aigues Mortes
After lunch there will be multiple options to choose from :
Afternoon option 1 : a vineyard tour at a Castle followed by a tasting of their wine (the largest wine producing region in France). If he is available, the owner will personally greet our visitors for the tour.
Afternoon option 2: The best oysters in France are farmed in a lagoon near Sète using an authentic and unique method. Our visitors are personally greeted by the oyster farmer who will provide information about the traditional and unique method used to farm the oysters in a lagoon as opposed to ocean farming. You will be given a demonstration on how to shuck the oysters followed by the « art of eating an oyster » with sampling including local Picpoul wine which is ideal with seafood.
Afternoon option 3 : Get on board a private shuttle boat with skipper and zoom over to the oyster beds in the lagoon folowed by a stop at Noilly Pratt vermouth production facility (the best in the world) for a tour and tasting. I can even arrange a private tour to the « room of secrets » for a cocktail workshop with other local delicacies such as cheese, macaroons and foie gras.
