During this seven-hour shore excursion, you’ll have time off to stroll the narrow streets, admire the architecture, learn about the history and have lunch before heading back to Sète. Time permitting, a stop can be made for an artisanal sampling.
Full Day Discovery Tour – Oysters, Vermouth and More
You are looking for more hands on activities? Then this tour is for you. Your adventure begins at an oyster farm where you will learn about the ancestral method of farming, how to shuck oysters and, most importantly, the “art of eating an oyster”. Following lunch you will visit a charming seaside village and be amazed to learn that the world’s best vermouth is produced here. After a tour of the facility, you will enter the room of “secrets” for a fully private cocktail workshop with local nibbles including foie gras and other goodies. You’ll leave knowing how to mix the best martini in the world.
